Another Project

This is a video of a typical affordable, low cost housing project in Costa Rica. Vivienda Housing and Mortgage Corp. (“Vivienda”) is pleased to be partnered with a number of excellent builders, mortgage pools and developers. The project in this video involves some 30 houses for the Comision Nacional de Emergencias de Costa Rica, or the National Emergency Commission. It is not an exageration to state that the severe housing crisis in Central America is indeed an emergency! The video is just under 10 minutes in length, and includes a brief description of how you can help and get involved. Click on the below links to download the video in your choice of format. Together with our partners we are currently building houses in the Desamparados suburb of San José for the National Emergency Commission of Costa Rica. The video on this page was shot on location, while the footage of slums is from the Zapote suburb of San José.
